Seminar adalah salah satu tahapan penting dalam proses penyelesaian studi mahasiswa di Program Studi Statistika yang berbobot 3 SKS. Dalam seminar ini, mahasiswa mempresentasikan hasil penelitian yang telah mereka lakukan, dengan sebelumnya pengajuan judul penelitian, membuat perumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian, kajian pustaka yang relevan, metode ilmiah yang diterapkan, hasil penelitian, pembahasan, hingga kesimpulan yang ditarik berdasarkan analisis data hingga menjadi karya tulis ilmiah. Setiap bagian dari penelitian harus disampaikan secara sistematis dan komprehensif untuk menunjukkan penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap topik yang mereka teliti. Seminar Hasil juga menjadi forum akademik di mana mahasiswa diuji kemampuan argumentasinya dengan mempertahankan pendapat di hadapan penguji yang terdiri dari dosen pembimbing dan dosen penguji. Dalam sesi ini, mahasiswa harus mampu menjelaskan dan menjawab pertanyaan atau kritik terkait metodologi, validitas data, dan interpretasi hasil secara logis dan berbasis ilmiah. Tugas akhir yang dipresentasikan dalam seminar ini berupa skripsi, yang menjadi salah satu indikator kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang, melaksanakan, dan melaporkan penelitian ilmiah secara mandiri. Seminar ini tidak hanya mengukur penguasaan teknis dan akademik mahasiswa, tetapi juga mengasah keterampilan komunikasi serta kemampuan berpikir kritis yang sangat dibutuhkan di dunia kerja maupun pendidikan lanjutan.<\/p>
