Program kerja praktek di Program Studi Statistika dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang holistik kepada mahasiswa dengan melibatkan mereka secara langsung dalam berbagai kegiatan dan permasalahan statistika di dunia nyata. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah agar mahasiswa dapat mengidentifikasi dan memahami dinamika serta tantangan yang dihadapi oleh praktisi statistik di luar lingkungan akademik. Dalam pelaksanaannya, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu menerapkan pengetahuan teoritis dan keterampilan teknis yang telah mereka peroleh selama perkuliahan, dengan cara berkontribusi pada penelitian atau proyek statistik yang relevan. Selain itu, mahasiswa akan melakukan proses dokumentasi yang melibatkan pengumpulan data, pengolahan informasi, hingga penyusunan laporan ilmiah berupa karya tulis sesuai dengan topik yang dipilih. Program kerja praktek ini juga dirancang untuk membangun keterampilan komunikasi profesional, analisis kritis, serta kemampuan untuk beradaptasi dalam lingkungan kerja yang beragam. Untuk mengikuti program ini, mahasiswa harus telah menyelesaikan minimal 90 SKS sebagai prasyarat dan dapat melakukannya pada semester ganjil maupun genap. Program ini tidak hanya menjadi wadah pembelajaran, tetapi juga menjadi sarana penting untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pengalaman yang relevan sebelum mereka memasuki dunia kerja atau melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.<\/p>
